The exhibit features works by such artists as Auguste Herbin, Wassily Kandinsky, and Ben Nicholson, which reflect prominent trends in abstract art from the first half of the 20th century, in particular Geometirc Abstraction, Constructivism, and Neo-Platicism.  Between 1931 and 1936 these artists and many others affiliated with the international avant-garde were active in Paris in a group known as "Abstraction-Creation."
